Personalised Watercolour Art Prints

Personalised watercolour art prints start with a photo you already love, a couple's selfie, a first dance, a mum-and-child moment, your wedding venue, a best friend. We reimagine it as a soft watercolour portrait: an object made for a wall, not a shelf. Three sizes, optional wood frames (black, white or natural), and a free digital proof before anything prints. Delivered in days.

Personalised gifts, turning memories into mementos

Why a watercolour art print lands when other personalised photo gifts don't

A Couple's Selfie sits next to a Mummy & Me portrait, next to a Wedding Venue Illustration, next to a Superdad scene with the kids. This collection holds every watercolour art print we make, because the format is the gift, whatever the occasion. Most personalised gifts end up in a drawer: a photo mug fades; a cushion moves to the spare room. A watercolour art print doesn't, because it was never a novelty. It's an object made to hang, sized to a wall and framed to suit a room.

What every print in this collection has in common: each one is an artist-reimagined digital watercolour, made from a photo you send us, printed on premium paper and delivered in days. It looks like art because the approach is art. It doesn't look like a printout because we don't treat it like one.

How it works

  1. Choose your print, then send us your favourite photo, a phone shot works perfectly when the faces are clear and the light is reasonable.
  2. We reimagine it as a soft watercolour portrait: the photo you took, reimagined in a watercolour style that reads as art on a wall.
  3. We email you a free digital proof. Nothing prints until you approve it, and you can ask for tweaks before you do.
  4. Your print is produced close to you and delivered in days, worldwide. Choose print-only or add a black, white or natural wood frame (+£30) and it arrives ready to hang.

Choosing the right size and finish

Three sizes: 21 × 29.7 cm (roughly A4), 30 × 40 cm and 45 × 60 cm. Prices run from £34.95 to £94.95 before framing. The smallest size suits a desk, a bedside shelf or a gallery wall where it sits alongside other pieces. The middle size, 30 × 40 cm, is the one most people choose for a wall: substantial without dominating a room. The largest earns a spot above a mantelpiece or as the centrepiece of a living room wall.

On frames: the black frame reads cleanly in modern rooms; white suits lighter, Scandinavian-style interiors; natural wood brings warmth to a bedroom or kitchen. If the recipient likes to choose their own framing, print-only gives them that option.

One practical note: for a print where two people need to be clearly visible, the couple portraits, the Then & Now Duo, the Together Since portrait, send a photo where both faces are in frame and roughly the same distance from the lens. We'll flag it at the proof stage if we need something better.

The right print for the occasion

The personalised gifts for couples and anniversary watercolour prints are the most frequent gift occasions here. For something made specifically for her, watercolour gifts for him or a new arrival, each of those collections narrows the range to the prints most likely to land.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get to see the design before it prints?

Yes, always. Once we've reimagined your photo as a watercolour, we email you a free digital proof before we print a single page. You check the framing, the likeness, the feel. If something needs adjusting, ask and we'll tweak it. Nothing goes to print until you're happy with what you see.

Can I use a photo from my phone?

A phone photo is usually fine, as long as the subject is in focus, reasonably well lit and not heavily zoomed. Group shots and couple portraits work best when everyone's clearly in frame. If the photo you've sent won't give a good result, we'll let you know at the proof stage before anything prints.

What sizes and prices are available?

Three sizes: 21 × 29.7 cm from £34.95, 30 × 40 cm and 45 × 60 cm up to £94.95, all on premium paper. Adding a frame (black, white or natural wood) is £30 on top. The frame arrives fitted and ready to hang; print-only gives the recipient the option to frame it their way.

Will it look hand-painted?

It has the look and feel of a watercolour portrait, soft edges, the warmth you'd expect from a watercolour original. But it's an artist-reimagined digital watercolour, not a physical hand-painted original. We're upfront about that because the free proof makes the quality speak for itself.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders are printed and dispatched within a few days of you approving the digital proof. The exact delivery window depends on where you are, but we print close to you to keep transit time short. Order in good time before the occasion so the proof-and-approve step doesn't feel rushed.

What if I don't like the proof?

Then we change it. The proof stage is there so you can ask for tweaks to the colours, the background or the likeness, and we'll keep revising until you're happy. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
