Frequently asked questions

Do I get to see the design before it prints?

Yes. Once we've reimagined your photo, we email you a free digital proof so you can check the feel, the framing and the likeness before we print a single page. Nothing goes to print until you're happy, and you can ask for tweaks. For a gift with a fixed date, it takes the guesswork out of ordering something you can't see in advance.

What kind of photo works best?

Any photo where the faces are reasonably clear and well lit, a shot from the park, a fishing trip, a hug on the sofa. Phone photos are fine. Avoid heavily zoomed or dark, blurry images. If your photo isn't quite right, we'll flag it at the proof stage before anything prints.

Will it arrive in time for Father's Day?

Most orders are printed and dispatched within a few days of you approving the proof, then delivered worldwide. Order with a few days' buffer to allow the proof-and-approve step, the closer to Father's Day you order, the sooner you should get your proof approved.

Framed or print-only, what's the difference?

A framed print (black, white or natural wood) is ready to hang straight from the box, no extra trips to a framer. Print-only suits someone who likes to choose their own frame or already has a spot in mind. Adding a frame is £30; sizes run from 21 × 29.7 cm up to 45 × 60 cm.

What if I don't like the proof?

Then we change it. The proof stage is there so you can ask for tweaks to the colours, the background or the likeness, and we'll keep revising until you're happy. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
