Personalised gifts, turning memories into mementos

Why dog lovers keep a portrait they'd never commission for themselves

A dog lover will celebrate their dog's birthday, remember the gotcha day, put them in the Christmas photo, and still have nothing on the wall. A watercolour pet portrait gives all that devotion somewhere permanent to live. A photo that already means something, the dog in their favourite spot, the two of them on a walk, is reimagined as an artist-reimagined digital watercolour: soft, warm, and made to be kept rather than scrolled past and forgotten.

How it works

  1. Send your favourite photo of their pet, or the two of them together.
  2. We reimagine it as a soft watercolour portrait, from a simple pet study to a florals-wrapped keepsake.
  3. We email you a free digital proof, nothing prints until you're happy.
  4. Your print is delivered in days, framed and ready to hang or print-only to frame their way.

Choosing the right print

Three sizes suit different walls: 21 × 29.7 cm fits a shelf or a gallery cluster; 30 × 40 cm is the most versatile; 45 × 60 cm earns a room's main wall. Add a black, white or natural wood frame for a gift that arrives ready to hang. A framed print at £30 extra means they don't have to do a thing, it's on the wall the day it arrives.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get to see the design before it prints?

Yes, we email you a free digital proof before anything goes to print. You can check how the pet looks in watercolour, approve the framing and colouring, and ask for tweaks if anything doesn't feel right. Nothing prints until you're happy. It takes the guesswork out of ordering a personalised gift you can't see in a shop first.

Can I use a photo from my phone of my dog?

A phone photo works well for most pet portraits, as long as the face is clearly in focus and reasonably well lit. Avoid very dark shots, heavy zoom or blurry motion frames. If your photo won't translate well to watercolour, we'll flag it at the proof stage before printing, so there's no risk of a disappointing result.

What's the difference between a pet portrait and a pet-and-owner print?

A pet portrait focuses on the animal alone, great for celebrating a dog, cat or any beloved pet in their own right. A pet-and-owner print includes both the person and their pet in the same watercolour, which makes it a more personal gift for someone who sees their animal as a genuine companion. Both are reimagined from your photo as a soft digital watercolour.

What sizes and frames are available, and what do they cost?

Prints come in three sizes: 21 × 29.7 cm, 30 × 40 cm and 45 × 60 cm, priced from £34.95 to £94.95. You can order print-only or add a black, white or natural wood frame for £30. Framed orders arrive ready to hang, which makes them a cleaner gift to give.

What if I don't like the proof?

Then we change it. The proof stage is there so you can ask for tweaks to the colours, the background or the likeness, and we'll keep revising until you're happy. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
