Do I get to see the design before it prints?
Yes. Once we reimagine your photo as a watercolour portrait, we email you a free digital proof so you can check the faces, the framing and the overall feel before a single page prints. Nothing goes to print until you're happy. You can ask for tweaks too, useful when it needs to be right for Christmas morning.
Can I use a photo from my phone?
A phone photo works well as long as the faces are clearly visible and the light is reasonable. Avoid heavily zoomed, blurry or very dark shots. If your photo won't translate well into a watercolour portrait, we'll flag it at the proof stage before anything is printed.
What sizes and frame options are there?
Prints come in three sizes: 21×29.7 cm, 30×40 cm and 45×60 cm. You can order a print on its own or add a frame, black, white or natural wood, for £30 extra. Framed prints arrive ready to hang. Prices run from £34.95 to £94.95 depending on size and framing.
How long does delivery take, will it arrive in time for Christmas?
Most orders are printed and dispatched within a few days of you approving the proof. Order as early as you can so the proof-and-approve step isn't rushed. If Christmas is close, check the current dispatch times at checkout before ordering.
What if I don't like the proof?
Then we change it. The proof stage is there so you can ask for tweaks to the colours, the background or the likeness, and we'll keep revising until you're happy. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
