Yes. We email you a free digital proof so you can check the composition, the colours and the feel before a single page goes to print. Nothing prints until you're happy, and you can ask for tweaks. It takes the guesswork out of ordering a portrait she hasn't seen, and means you can be confident before Mother's Day.

What photos work best for a Mother's Day portrait?

The best photos have clear faces and reasonably good light, a phone shot taken outdoors, or a candid from a family gathering, usually works well. Avoid heavily zoomed, blurry or very dark shots. If we think a photo won't produce a strong result, we'll let you know at the proof stage before anything prints.

Can I order a framed print, and what are the frame options?

Yes. Each print is available framed or print-only. Frame colours are black, white or natural wood, all solid wood, all adding £30 to the print price. Sizes run from 21 × 29.7 cm up to 45 × 60 cm, with prices from £34.95 for a print-only up to £94.95 for the largest framed option.

How long does delivery take, will it arrive in time for Mother's Day?

Most orders are printed and dispatched within a few days of you approving the proof, then delivered worldwide. The proof step adds a little time, so order as soon as you can rather than leaving it to the last few days. If you're unsure about timing, get in touch and we'll be honest about what's feasible.

What if I don't like the proof?

Then we change it. The proof stage is there so you can ask for tweaks to the colours, the background or the likeness, and we'll keep revising until you're happy. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
