Gifts for Dad

He'd never buy it for himself, so these personalised gifts for dad start from a real photo: the fishing trip, the park, the bear hug he still pulls off. We reimagine it as a watercolour portrait worth hanging. See a free digital proof before anything prints.

Personalised gifts, turning memories into mementos

Why a watercolour print is the gift dads actually keep

Dads are notoriously difficult, not because they're ungrateful, but because anything they genuinely want, they buy for themselves. What they won't buy is a reminder of the moments they live for: a Saturday at the park, a fishing afternoon, a daughter asking for one more dance. A watercolour portrait from a photo like that earns a place on the wall rather than staying buried in a camera roll. It's the gift that says you were paying attention.

Choose a photo where the faces are clear and the light is decent; we reimagine it in a soft, artist-reimagined watercolour style, the kind that reads as art, not a printout. Three sizes from 21 × 29.7 cm up to 45 × 60 cm, framed or print-only.

How it works

  1. Send your favourite photo of Dad, or of him and the kids.
  2. We reimagine it as a soft watercolour portrait.
  3. We email you a free digital proof. Nothing prints until you're happy.
  4. Your framed keepsake is printed close to you and delivered in days, worldwide.

A 30 × 40 cm suits a study desk or sideboard; 45 × 60 cm earns a proper wall spot. A natural or black wood frame means he can hang it straight away, framing is an extra £30.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get to see the design before it prints?

Yes, we email you a free digital proof so you can check the photo, the framing and the feel before we print anything. Nothing goes to print until you're happy, and you can ask for tweaks. It takes the guesswork out of ordering a gift you can't see in advance, which matters when the gift has to be right.

Can I use a photo from my phone?

A phone photo works well as long as the faces are reasonably sharp and well lit. Avoid heavy zoom, dark shots, or anything too blurry. If the photo won't produce a clean result, we'll tell you at the proof stage, before a single thing prints, so there are no surprises.

What sizes and prices are available, and does framing cost extra?

Prints come in three sizes: 21 × 29.7 cm, 30 × 40 cm and 45 × 60 cm, ranging from £34.95 to £94.95 print-only. Adding a black, white or natural wood frame is an extra £30. The frame is ready to hang, so it makes the gift feel complete straight out of the box.

Will it look like a painting?

It's an artist-reimagined digital watercolour, digitally painted in a watercolour style, then printed on premium paper. It has the warmth and character of a watercolour portrait without the cost of a commissioned original. The free proof is the best way to see exactly how it'll look before you commit.

What if I don't like the proof?

Then we change it. The proof stage is there so you can ask for tweaks to the colours, the background or the likeness, and we'll keep revising until you're happy. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
