Why we sell our prints unframed

Most of our prints ship unframed, so you can choose a frame you love rather than pay for one you'd swap out.

Pick your own look. Match the frame to your room, oak, black or white wood, or a mounted gallery style.
Don't pay twice. A frame you didn't choose often gets replaced. Unframed keeps the cost on the artwork.
Ships flat and safe. A flat-packed print travels far better than glass.

Choosing a frame that fits

Our prints come in three standard sizes, so an off-the-shelf frame is easy to find:

21 × 29.7 cm (A4) — fits any standard A4 frame.
30 × 40 cm — a common ready-made frame size.
45 × 60 cm — a popular large size, also widely sold ready-made.

Two easy ways to frame it:

Frame to size. Buy a frame in the exact size above, no mount needed.
Use a mount (mat). Choose a slightly larger frame with a mount cut to your print size, for a gallery look with a border.

Tip: check the frame's artwork opening (not its outer size), and look for a real glass or acrylic front.

How it'll look on your wall

Can I include more than two siblings in one print?

Yes, most photos with two, three or four siblings work well. Send the clearest photo you have and we'll assess it when we create your free digital proof. Very large groups may need a wider size to give each face enough detail; we'll let you know if we'd recommend sizing up.

What kind of photo works best for a siblings print?

A photo where both (or all) faces are clearly visible and reasonably well-lit gives the best result. Candid shots are absolutely fine, laughing mid-movement, arms round each other, that kind of thing. If you're unsure whether yours will work, upload it and check the free proof before committing.

Is this a good gift for parents as well as siblings themselves?

Because every print is made to order from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. You approve a free digital proof before we print anything, so there are no surprises. And if a print arrives damaged or not as approved, we'll put it right straight away.
